She/Her
Executive Director & Facilitator
Brendah is the Founder and Lead Facilitator of Healing Together Uganda. Prior to Healing Together Uganda, Brendah worked for 6 years as a social worker, most recently as the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Coordinator with our partner NYAKA, and is a former participant of several of our trauma-informed care trainings in Uganda.

Brendah grew up in a rural part of southwestern Uganda where poverty was high and there was significant loss due to HIV/AIDS. As a survivor of trauma and gender-based violence herself, Brendah developed a passion for helping others heal, and pursued education and career opportunities that allowed her to support other survivors.

Brendah has a BA in Social Work and Social Administration from Bishop Stuart University. She has worked at the Sanga Town Council as a Community Development Officer and worked with survivors of sexual violence as a case management coordinator, training facilitator, and country coordinator at Mutera Global Healing, formerly known as EDJA Foundation.
In her free time, Brendah enjoys spending time with children, listening to music, and adventure!
